What is Satan's number one way of keeping people from the gospel today?
Satan's number one method today is keeping people so busy and preoccupied with sports, programs, and material things that they never take time to think spiritually. This constant bombardment with everything but the things that count keeps minds veiled from the gospel, so they fail to believe the finished work.
Les teaches that Satan's number one choice of modus operandi today is to keep people so busy that they never consider spiritual matters. He points out that children are involved in sports from the time they get old enough to walk, and people's time is constantly bombarded with everything except the things that count. While there is nothing wrong with many of those activities, such as kids playing T-ball or basketball, they occupy minds so completely that people never have time to think in terms of the spiritual. Les says the devil loves this, because the more he can keep people in programs and focused on the material, the more he can say, "I've got them veiled."
