What happens to the believer's soul, spirit, and body at the rapture?
At the meeting in the air, once the body of Christ is complete, God in Christ brings the souls and spirits of departed believers from His presence to the atmosphere. Their bodies are resurrected and reunited with soul and spirit in the air.
Les explains that when the body of Christ is called out from Jews and Gentiles both, and when it is complete and the last one has been saved, then comes the meeting in the air. The soul and spirit of the believer that has been in the presence of Christ is brought to the atmosphere by God Himself in the person of Christ. There the believer is resurrected bodily, so that soul, spirit, and body are reunited in the air. This follows the calling out of a Gentile body of Christ through the Gospel of Grace committed to Paul.
