How is the spiritual body like the natural body?
The spiritual body resembles the natural body in that it keeps all the outward features we have now. Though raised a spiritual body and eons apart, it remains recognizable and has full knowledge, with eternal life instead of the promised three score and ten, its life source being the Spirit.
Les explains that the natural body is sown and the spiritual body is raised, and though they are eons apart, they are a lot alike. We will still have all the outward features we have now, but we will be spiritual, possessing eternal life instead of the promised three score and ten. We won't enter eternity in flesh and blood but in flesh and bone, with the Spirit as our life source. Just as Peter, James, and John recognized Moses and Elijah, we will recognize our loved ones and know everyone by name, having full knowledge.
It is sown a natural body; it is raised a spiritual body. There is a natural body, and there is a spiritual body.
The days of our years are threescore years and ten; and if by reason of strength they be fourscore years, yet is their strength labour and sorrow; for it is soon cut off, and we fly away.
