What kind of body can inherit the Kingdom of God?
A flesh-and-bone body, not a flesh-and-blood body, can inherit the Kingdom of God. In the eternal state, the Spirit of God will sustain that body, taking over the role blood now has, because life is presently in the blood but will then be in the Spirit.
Les explains from 1 Corinthians 15 that the last Adam, Christ, became a life-giving or quickening spirit. The secret is that flesh and blood cannot inherit the Kingdom, but only flesh and bone can. In this present physical existence, life is in the blood; in the eternal existence, life will be in the Spirit. Even now believers are indwelt by the Holy Spirit, but not to the degree of the eternal state, when the Spirit will actually take over the role that blood now has. Les notes this profound resurrection doctrine appears in the letter written to carnal believers.
Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; neither doth corruption inherit incorruption.
