Where is the Lord Jesus now, and from where do we look for Him?

Scripture teaches that the Lord Jesus is now in Heaven, waiting there, and that our citizenship or conversation is in Heaven. From that same Heaven where He waits, believers look for the Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ, who will change our vile body to be fashioned like His glorious body.

Les explains from Philippians 3:20-21 that our conversation, or citizenship, is in Heaven. He reminds us that Colossians says we have already been translated into the Kingdom of Heaven. From that same Heaven where the Lord is now waiting, we look for the Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ. He shall change our vile body—this one prone to sin, death, and disease—so it may be fashioned like unto His glorious body, according to the working whereby He is able even to subdue all things unto Himself. Les also notes that Paul lays out the resurrection questions clearly, and that the focus is on the 40 days after His resurrection and before His ascension from the Mount of Olives.
