Where is Jesus now and where do believers look for Him from?

Scripture teaches Jesus is now in Heaven, waiting there. Believers' citizenship is in Heaven, and from that same Heaven they look for the Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ, who will change their vile bodies to be like His glorious body.

Les explains that Philippians 3:20-21 teaches our conversation, or citizenship, is in Heaven. He points out Colossians says believers have already been translated into the Kingdom of Heaven. From that same Heaven where the Lord is now waiting, we look for the Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ. He shall change our vile body, this one prone to sin and death and disease, and fashion it like unto His glorious body, according to the working whereby He is able even to subdue all things unto Himself. Les emphasizes how plain this is, and notes we need to study the 40 days after His resurrection and before His ascension from the Mount of Olives.
