Why did Paul write deep doctrine to a carnal church?

Resurrection is strictly a biblical concept and everything centers on it, so Paul wrote deep doctrinal truths to a carnal congregation. Even carnal Christians had enough sense to rejoice in Christ, and he affirmed his daily dying as an apostolic example.

Les explains that the Apostle Paul wrote deep doctrinal things concerning resurrection to a congregation that was carnal, not spiritual. He reminds them that resurrection is strictly a Christian and biblical concept, unlike mythologies and cults that teach reincarnation. Everything centers on the resurrection of the dead; otherwise one might as well eat, drink, and be merry. Paul affirms by their rejoicing in Christ Jesus that he dies daily, and Les sees a two-fold approach, including the old and new nature.
