Where does Christ come at His Second Coming and what does He do there?
At His Second Coming, Christ returns to the Mount of Olives, where His feet will stand, according to Zechariah. There He sets up His glorious Kingdom on earth and rules and reigns as King of Kings and Lord of Lords during the thousand years.
Les explains that after the seven years of tribulation have run their course, divided into three and a half and three and a half, Christ returns at His Second Coming. He comes to the Mount of Olives, and His feet will stand there according to Zechariah. There He sets up the glorious Kingdom on earth. All the Old Testament speaks of this Kingdom as being on the earth, including Zechariah 14, Daniel 2, and Isaiah 11. Over that earthly Kingdom, He will rule and reign as King of Kings and Lord of Lords during the thousand years.
And his feet shall stand in that day upon the mount of Olives, which is before Jerusalem on the east, and the mount of Olives shall cleave in the midst thereof toward the east and toward the west, and there shall be a very great valley; and half of the mountain shall remove toward the north, and half of it toward the south.
