Where do the deceived nations go up against in Revelation 20:9?

The deceived nations go up across the breadth of the earth and surround the camp of the saints and the beloved city, Jerusalem. They gather to battle against Christ and His throne near Jerusalem, but fire comes down from God out of heaven and devours them.

Les explains that after the thousand years are expired, Satan is loosed out of his prison and goes back to his old domain, planet earth, where Christ has been ruling. Satan goes out to deceive the nations, Gog and Magog, and gathers them together to battle—another battle of Armageddon, so to speak. Their number is as the sand of the sea. In verse 9 they go up on the breadth of the earth, coming from every nation, and they come past the camp of the saints about the beloved city, Jerusalem. They gather around to defeat Christ and His throne near Jerusalem, but this time God does not delay. Grace will not be operating; this is judgment. With one fell swoop, fire comes down from God out of heaven and devours them.

Revelation 20:9

And they went up on the breadth of the earth, and compassed the camp of the saints about, and the beloved city: and fire came down from God out of heaven, and devoured them.
