Where did Christ go after He purged our sins?

After He by Himself purged our sins, Christ sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high. Psalms foretold this in the future, but Paul writes of it as past tense and accomplished: the One who died on Calvary's cross and arose from the dead is seated there.

Les explains that this same Creator and Sustainer of the universe, who upholds all things by the word of His power, purged our sins by Himself. This is the One who died on Calvary's cross and arose from the dead. Having by Himself purged our sins, He sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high. Les notes that Psalms spoke of this in the future, but Paul can now write of it as past tense—it is now accomplished, and prophecy in that regard is already fulfilled. This seated One is the Messiah of Israel, the Son of God, the Savior of mankind, and the Head of the Body; Les points out that Christ is not the King of the Church, but the Head of the Body.

Hebrews 1:3

Who being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high;

Psalms 110:1

The LORD said unto my Lord, Sit thou at my right hand, until I make thine enemies thy footstool.
