What did Jesus do after He purged our sins?

After He had by Himself purged or cleansed our sins, He sat down at the right hand of the Majesty on high as our advocate. There He constantly comes to the defense of believers, who overcome the old accuser by the blood of the Lamb.

Les explains that when Jesus had by Himself purged or cleansed our sins, He sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high as our advocate. Even though the old accuser of the brethren constantly accuses us, the Lord Jesus constantly comes to our defense. Revelation 12:11 says the accused overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, and they had not loved their lives unto death. Les stresses that the blood is never overlooked in Scripture; it is intrinsic to our faith to believe in the shed blood of the cross of Calvary. He thinks this refers to the martyrs of all ages, not just the tribulation.
