What did Jesus do after He cleansed our sins?

After He purged or cleansed our sins by Himself, He sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high as our advocate. There He continually comes to the defense of believers, even while the old accuser of the brethren constantly accuses them.

Les explains that when the Lord Jesus had by Himself purged or cleansed our sins, He sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high as our advocate. Although the old accuser of the brethren constantly accuses us, the Lord Jesus constantly comes to our defense. In Revelation 12, the accused overcome Him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony. Les stresses that Scripture never overlooks the blood; it is intrinsic to our faith that we believe in the shed blood of the cross of Calvary. He also applies this to the martyrs of all ages, while the devil, having great wrath, knows he has but a short time.
