What kinds of things were created by Christ and for Christ?
All things in heaven and on earth were created by Christ and for Christ: visible and invisible things, thrones, dominions, principalities, and every other thing. Scripture states that everything, all things, were created by Him and for Him, and He sustains the universe.
Les teaches from Colossians that God the Son is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn, the first of everything ever created. By Him all things were created, and most people will not give Christ that credit, but He is the Creator and sustainer of the universe. The things created by Him and for Him include everything in heaven and earth, visible and invisible, thrones, dominions, principalities, and so forth. All things, everything, were created by Him and for Him. Les also connects this to Hebrews, where God the Son is the brightness of the Godhead's glory and the express, visible, tangible image of His person, upholding all things by the word of His power. The vast universe with billions of celestial bodies does not crash or fall out of orbit because Christ has them all under control. Les uses that to show God knows every single celestial body, and therefore He is aware of every individual.
