What happens when Christ returns at Armageddon to the Gentile empires and the planet?
At Armageddon, the returning Christ crushes the residue of the Gentile empires and the armies of the Antichrist, totally destroying the planet so every city falls within hours. Those empires become like summer threshing-floor chaff, blown away and dissipated. The smiting stone then becomes a great mountain filling the whole earth, establishing His Kingdom.

The iron, clay, brass, silver, and gold are broken to pieces together and become like the chaff of the summer threshing floor—light, blown away by the wind, and dissipated. The residue of these great Gentile empires will literally be blown away with the Second Coming of Christ and disappear like that chaff. Then the stone that smote the image, which is the returning Christ, becomes a great mountain and fills the whole earth; in other words, He sets up His Kingdom. Before He brings in the Jewish resurrected believers, and as Israel receives the fulfillment of all their Old Testament promises, these 75 days are used to get everything ready for the oncoming Kingdom economy, to cleanse the earth of all the residue, and it will be beautiful.
