What is the order of events after Israel rejected the Kingdom?
Once Israel had crucified its Messiah and rejected the Kingdom, God raised up Paul and began calling out the Body of Christ, primarily from the Gentiles. That Body must be raptured before God resumes dealing with Israel; then He brings tribulation to Israel, followed by the King and Kingdom.
Les explains that after Israel crucified their Messiah, Peter did not succeed in turning Israel to repentance. God then brought up the Apostle Paul and began calling out the Body of Christ, primarily from among the Gentiles. This calling out has nothing to do with the Old Testament program or the tribulation, because that is tied primarily to the Jew. The Body of Christ is insulated from God's dealings with Israel either before or after, so it has to be raptured and off the scene before God can pick up dealing with Israel again. Then He will yet bring in the tribulation to Israel, and the Old Testament economy points to the coming of the Messiah, the King, and the Kingdom.
