What does God want for believers in the Body of Christ regarding teaching and instruction?

God wants every child of His in the Body of Christ to be well taught and well instructed, grounded, with the Word of Christ dwelling richly in all wisdom. He does not want ignorant believers. Instead, He desires believers to enjoy their faith and live joyously, not miserably.

Les explains from Colossians 3 that believers are to let the peace of God rule in their hearts and let the Word of Christ dwell in them richly in all wisdom. God does not want a bunch of ignorant believers in the Body. He wants every child of His to be well taught, well instructed, grounded, and to enjoy their faith. There is no room for miserable Christians; if they are miserable, they are out of fellowship with the Lord, but the Christian life is joyous, and God wants it that way. Verse 17 adds that whatever believers do in word or deed should be done in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God and to the Father by Him.

Colossians 3:16

Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.
