What do Orthodox Jews expect to happen on the Temple Mount when the Messiah comes?
Orthodox Jews expect that when the Messiah comes, He will arrange events so they can have their Temple. They believe something will happen to the Muslims on the Temple Mount, peacefully or otherwise, and that they will then have their Temple worship restored. They are still looking for Him and think His coming is close.
Les explains that Orthodox Jews, including the guide he mentions, may know the Gospel accounts of Christ's earthly ministry yet insist Christ has not yet come. They are still looking for the Messiah and think His coming is near, and the Red Heifer reports in Israel are another indication of their excitement. They expect that when the Messiah comes, He will set things so they can have their Temple, with something happening to the Muslims on the Temple Mount peacefully or otherwise, and they are sure they will have their Temple worship. Les teaches, however, that this will not be the true Messiah but the counterfeit Messiah, the Antichrist. When asked what they look for in a Messiah, they say He is not God as Christians claim.
