What will happen to the Jews when the Antichrist sets up his rule and reign from the temple?

Les explains that when the Antichrist comes in and sets up his rule and reign from the temple, the Jews will surely be back under the boot of the Gentile armies. He ties this to Israel's repeated history: after Nebuchadnezzar came to Jerusalem in 606 B.C., he besieged and destroyed it, destroyed the temple, and took Israel captive, with only a few returning. Later, Ezra and Nehemiah built a restored temple by 400 B.C., though with limited resources it was not as beautiful as Solomon's. King Herod, a tremendous builder, remodeled and enlarged that temple on Mount Moriah into a wonder of the ancient world, and it was standing when Christ began His earthly ministry. That beautiful temple was destroyed in 70 A.D. by Roman General Titus, and the Jews were again sent into complete dispersion, with only a few staying in Jerusalem and Israel. Les's point is that the future Antichrist rule will bring the same pattern of Gentile domination over the Jews.
