Who is the Creator of all things according to Ephesians 3:9?

Ephesians 3:9 identifies Jesus Christ as the Creator of all things. The passage speaks of the God of Genesis 1:1 who created all things, then designates Jesus Christ as that Creator. Thus the created beings crucified their own Creator, and Scripture presents Him as the sovereign God of the universe.

Les explains that in Ephesians chapter 3, verse 9, Paul writes about the mystery hidden in God from the beginning, the same God of Genesis 1:1 who created all things. Les emphasizes that this God was designated the Creator—Jesus Christ. He illustrates that the people who nailed Christ to the cross were created beings crucifying their Creator, which shocked his class. He says never lose sight of that. Les also connects it to salvation: the sovereign God of the universe died the death we should have died, rose from the dead, and extended eternal life; you cannot separate that from Him.
