What changed for Noah and his family after the Flood?

After the Flood, God placed new responsibilities on Noah and his family and instituted a different administration. They were now permitted to kill animals and eat meat, which had not been allowed before. This marked a changed set of circumstances from the pre-Flood order.

Les teaches that just as Adam and Eve’s circumstances changed after they left the Garden, so Noah and his family’s circumstances changed after the Flood. When they came out of the Ark, everything was different again. God laid other responsibilities upon them. Now they could kill animals and eat the meat; before, they did not have that. So it was a different administration. Les connects this to a pattern: God did not change, but the circumstances and administrations did. He notes the same pattern later at the Tower of Babel and with Abraham.
