What changed after Noah came off the Ark?
After Noah and his family left the Ark, God established human government to restrain murder and crime, and He granted mankind permission to kill and eat animal flesh. Such permission had not existed before; these were entirely different circumstances than what came before.
Les explains that when Noah, his three sons, and their wives came off the Ark, all circumstances were totally different than before. God was dealing differently than He did in the Garden. He would establish human government to put a restraint on murder and crime. On top of that, He gave mankind permission to kill and eat animals, eating their flesh. They never had that permission before, so it was a whole different set of circumstances. Les also notes that later God called Abraham out of the pagan population, turned from the other nations, and after about 500 years gave Israel the Law, Ten Commandments, ritualistic law, priesthood, and temple—things that had never happened before. But the immediate post-Ark changes were human government and permission to eat meat.
