What was the only rule God gave Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden?

The only rule given to Adam and Eve in the Garden was that they were not to eat from that tree. Everything else in Eden was available for them to enjoy. At that point they knew nothing of sin, yet they were commanded not to eat of the tree.

Les explains that the sole restriction in the Garden was the prohibition against eating from that tree; everything else was there for Adam and Eve to enjoy. They knew nothing of sin at that time, but they were not to eat of the tree. When they disobeyed and ate, sin and death entered, they were separated from that daily walk with God, and they came under the curse, having to work by the sweat of the brow. They were no longer under Eden's easy existence. God did not change; Adam and Eve did.
