Did Paul get his gospel from other men or by direct revelation from Jesus Christ?
Paul did not receive his gospel from man, nor was he taught it by man. He received it by direct revelation of the Lord Jesus Christ, the ascended Lord in glory, after His death, burial, and resurrection. This revelation became the gospel he preached to the Gentiles.
Les teaches that Paul explicitly says he neither received his gospel from man nor was taught it by man, but received it by revelation of the Lord Jesus Christ. During Paul's revelations, Jesus Christ was in glory. Therefore, everything Paul writes concerning our doctrine today comes from the Ascended Lord, after His death, burial, and resurrection. Until Christ went to the cross and died, He was not the object of faith to the main run of Gentiles. But once He finished the work of the cross and revealed His plan of salvation to this apostle, it became that gospel Paul preached to the Gentiles. Paul repeats that he was not taught it, but received it by the revelation of Jesus Christ. In verse 15, God, who separated Paul from his mother's womb and called him by His grace, was pleased to reveal that He could give this man the revelation of Jesus the Son, and that Paul might preach Him among the Gentiles. Immediately Paul conferred not with flesh and blood, neither did he go up to Jerusalem, confirming that his gospel came by revelation rather than human instruction.
For I neither received it of man, neither was I taught it, but by the revelation of Jesus Christ.
