Can any power take a believer out from under the blood protection?
No. Every believer who has had the blood of Christ applied is secure, because no power on earth or in heaven can remove them from that blood protection. Scripture declares nothing—death, life, angels, principalities, powers, present or future things—can separate us from God's love in Christ Jesus.
Les teaches that just as the Jewish family in Egypt was safe and the death angel could not touch the firstborn because of the blood on the door, so also for believers who have had the blood of Christ applied, nothing can touch us. He points to Romans 8, where Paul says we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us, and is persuaded that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor anything to come, nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature can separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus. The reason is that we are under the blood, and no power on earth or in heaven can take us from under that blood protection. As the Israelites were safe in Egypt, believers are safe today—a beautiful security.
