Why doesn't the Bible answer all the questions we have?

God has not seen fit to reveal everything, so some questions remain unanswered. Scripture is complete between its covers and contains everything we need to know, yet not all we would like to know. Many things people still ask about are simply not revealed.

Les explains that the Bible is complete between its two covers: everything we need to know is in it. Yet he notes this isn't all we'd like to know. There are a lot of things he still asks about, and we ask about, that God hasn't seen fit to reveal. He also warns that if an author claims a special revelation no one else ever had, that book should be discarded, because Scripture is complete. So the foundation is laid: God has revealed all we need, while withholding answers to many other questions.
