What did Priscilla and Aquila do for Apollos in Acts 18?

In Acts 18, Priscilla and Aquila heard Apollos speaking boldly in the synagogue, took him aside, and expounded to him the way of God more perfectly. They corrected his incomplete understanding by explaining what he did not know, since he knew only the Gospel of the Kingdom.

Les teaches that Apollos was a powerful speaker who knew only the Gospel of the Kingdom—repentance, baptism, and believing Jesus was the Christ—but he knew nothing of Paul's Gospel. Priscilla and Aquila, described as lowly tentmakers, took him aside and expounded to him the way of God more perfectly. They were in a position to tell Apollos something he did not know. Les admires Apollos because, despite his greatness, he listened to them.

Acts 18:26

And he began to speak boldly in the synagogue: whom when Aquila and Priscilla had heard, they took him unto them, and expounded unto him the way of God more perfectly.
