Who is the Son God revealed in Paul?

That Son is Christ—the crucified, resurrected, and risen Christ. God's purpose was to reveal His Son in Paul, by grace, not because Paul deserved it, and as part of His preordained plan from eternity past. Paul had been the persecutor who hated Jesus of Nazareth.

Les explains that when Paul came out of the traditions of the fathers, God—who had separated him from his mother's womb and called him by grace—purposed to reveal His Son in him. Paul had been the persecutor who hated Jesus of Nazareth, yet God saved him by grace, not because he earned it. The Son revealed is the Christ, the resurrected, crucified, and risen Christ. This was all part of God's preordained plan.
