Why did God reveal His Son to Paul?

God revealed His Son in Paul so that Paul might preach Him among the Gentiles, the non-Jews. This revelation came immediately after Paul's conversion at Damascus, and Paul did not confer with flesh and blood or go up to Jerusalem to the apostles before him. Instead, he went into Arabia.

Les explains that Paul, writing years later to the Gentiles in Galatia, says God revealed His Son in him so that he might preach Him among the Gentiles, the non-Jews. This happened immediately after Paul's conversion at Damascus. Paul did not confer with flesh and blood, did not go up to Jerusalem to the apostles before him, and did not ask Peter to fill him in. Instead, he went into Arabia, which Les identifies as likely Mount Sinai. Les also notes the geography mentioned in Galatians 4:25.
