How did the Corinthians grow after salvation?
After salvation, the Corinthians grew under the grace of God, beginning as spiritual fledglings and progressing in that grace. Their faith was not to stand in the wisdom of men but in the power of God, and God expanded their knowledge as they matured.
Les teaches that these Corinthians were saved out of a grossly immoral lifestyle and were given all the grace of God they would ever have, yet growth was still ahead. They began as almost little fledglings, but under grace they would grow. Their faith was not to rest in enticing words or human wisdom, but in the power of the Spirit and the Word of God. From that foundation, God would begin to expand their knowledge.
