How did the Corinthian believers grow after they were saved?

After being saved out of an immoral lifestyle, the Corinthian believers had all of God's grace, but growth still lay ahead. They began as spiritual fledglings, and under that grace they would grow. Their faith stood in God's power, not human wisdom, and God expanded their knowledge.

Les explains that these Corinthians were grossly immoral people saved out of that wicked lifestyle. At salvation they were given all the grace of God they would ever have, but growth was still ahead. They began as almost little fledglings, yet under God's grace they were going to grow. Les also notes that the apostle came not with enticing words but in the power of the Spirit, so their faith should not stand in the wisdom of men but in the power of God. From that foundation, God would begin to expand their knowledge.
