Les Feldick Bible Study

Did God use angels or many people to spread the gospel, or just one man?

God spread the gospel primarily through one man, Paul, rather than angels or hundreds of people. Paul established churches everywhere he went despite being beaten, physically downtrodden, and not a specimen of health. Christianity survived and became what we know today.

Les explains that into the gross immorality, commerce, and trade of Corinth came this one lone man. He marvels that Christianity ever survived and wonders why God did not put the gospel in the hands of angels or at least several hundred people, but instead depended almost primarily on one man. Though Paul was downtrodden, beaten, had physical problems, and was not a specimen of health, he persevered and established churches everywhere he went, which brings us to Christianity as we know it today.
