Why does God use fellow men, rather than angels, to promote His word?

God has sovereignly chosen to leave His word in the hands of fellow men rather than angels. He has seen fit to let believers—not angelic beings—promote His word. The context gives no further explanation beyond this divine choice to entrust His word’s promotion to you and I.

Les reminds his audience that he had mentioned weeks earlier that God has seen fit to leave His word not in the hands of angels but in the hands of fellow men. He has chosen to let the word be promoted by you and I. This statement comes in the Acts 10 setting, where God sovereignly intervened to bring Peter and six other believing Jews up to Caesarea, to the house of a Roman army officer with his relatives and friends. Though the context does not elaborate a reason beyond God’s sovereign choice, the emphasis is that God uses human vessels, not angels, to carry and promote His word.
