How is the tribulation remnant fleeing Jerusalem like Israel coming out of Egypt?
The tribulation remnant fleeing Jerusalem parallels Israel's exodus because both are supernaturally delivered by God. As God intervened when Pharaoh's army pursued Israel out of Egypt, He will supernaturally escort this escaping Jewish remnant from Jerusalem to the mountains, protecting them as His elect.
Les teaches that this escaping remnant of Jews flees from Jerusalem down to the mountains and is supernaturally escorted, as seen in Revelation chapter 12. He says it is almost a direct parallel to Israel coming out of Egypt: when Pharaoh's army was behind them, God intervened on their behalf supernaturally. He also explains that once the seven-year period starts, the supernatural becomes commonplace, including the two witnesses and the 144,000 Jews, 12,000 from each tribe. In the same way, God will supernaturally protect and lead this remnant, because they are the elect of God and would not survive unless the days were ended on schedule.
