How will the future remnant of Israel escape the tribulation?

The future remnant of Israel will escape the tribulation by virtue of a providential, sovereign God, in a miraculous manner similar to an earlier deliverance when it was as if they took wings and flew. Their escape is not by human power but by God's sovereign intervention.

Les teaches that this future escape will be just as miraculous as a past deliverance, when it was as if the people literally took wings and flew. He says, 'And so will it be again. This remnant of Israel is going to escape by virtue of a providential, sovereign God.' The context also shows God's covenant with Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob—that Israel would become a great nation, dwell in their own land, and have God as their king. While Exodus 19:5 presents a conditional 'if' regarding obedience, the remnant's escape rests on God's sovereign providence, not human effort. God deals with Israel on both national and personal levels.
