What is the parallel between the end-time remnant and Israel's exodus?

The end-time remnant of Jews fleeing Jerusalem to the mountains is supernaturally escorted by God, directly paralleling Israel's exodus from Egypt. Just as God intervened when Pharaoh's army pursued Israel, He will supernaturally deliver this escaping remnant, as depicted in Revelation chapter 12.

Les explains that the escaping remnant of Jews will flee from Jerusalem down to the mountains and be supernaturally escorted, which connects to Revelation chapter 12. He says this is almost a direct parallel to Israel coming out of Egypt, where Pharaoh's army was behind them and God intervened on their behalf supernaturally. He also notes that once the seven-year treaty begins, the supernatural will become commonplace, with events such as the two witnesses, the 144,000 Jews, and angelic intervention. The same supernatural protection applies to this end-time remnant.
