When did the Church Age begin?
The Church Age began sometime between A.D. 30 and A.D. 40, when the body of Christ had its beginning. This onset runs parallel to Israel’s long period under Gentile control since 606 B.C. and continues until Christ takes the Church out at the Rapture.
Les explains that the Church Age began sometime between 30 and 40 A.D., when the body of Christ had its beginning. He places this in a sort of parallel—though not totally parallel—with Israel’s subjection to Gentile control from 606 B.C. until Christ returns at His second coming. For the last 1900-plus years, the Church has been accumulating as people are brought into the body. It will be filled, and Christ will take it out at what is called the Rapture.
