What does the Church Age prepare the world for?
The Church Age, the outcalling of the Body of Christ, prepares the world for the next event on God's calendar: the rapture, or outcalling of the Church, which is His Body. This Pauline revelation must be taken out of the way before God picks up with Israel and the final seven years.
Les explains that after Pentecost, when Israel was no longer going to believe that Jesus was the Christ, God sent them back into the mainstream of humanity, not to be evangelists but to be a wandering nation in spiritual blindness and unbelief. God then began something totally different: the outcalling of the Body of Christ, which is called the Church Age. This Pauline revelation prepares the world for the next event on God's calendar, the rapture or outcalling of the Church, which is His Body. Since it has nothing to do with Old Testament prophecy or the nation of Israel, it must be taken out of the way before God can pick up with Israel and bring out that final seven years, divided into 3 1/2 and 3 1/2, and the appearance of the Antichrist.
