What is the church age called and what happens during it?

The church age is also called the age of grace, or the age wherein Christ is calling out the Body of Christ. During it, Israel is dispersed, God's time clock stops, and Christ presents the Gospel based on His death, burial, and resurrection while the church awaits His imminent return.

Les explains that once Israel loses her temple, national state, and sovereign government and is dispersed, God's time clock stops, and we enter what is called the church age, the age of grace, or the age wherein Christ is calling out the Body of Christ. During this age there is no time frame, and no one knows when Christ will return; it is imminent, meaning He may come before the day is over or years down the road. Les warns against date-setting, saying anyone who sets a date should be cast off as a false teacher because Scripture gives no ability to set a date. The church age has come down since 70 A.D., though it began before that. With Israel in dispersion, Christ presents the Gospel based on His death, burial, and resurrection, and before God begins the tribulation with Israel, the church must be removed. Les also notes the church is predominantly Gentile and addresses contrary teaching that the church will not be raptured or will go into the tribulation.
