what does the media say about God pouring out His wrath?
The press and media ridicule the outpouring of God's wrath, considering it totally ridiculous. They insist there is no such thing as God ever intervening in human history or pouring out His wrath, dismissing the concept entirely as unbelievable and rejecting any notion of divine judgment.
Les explains that the press likes to ridicule the outpouring of God's wrath more than almost anything else. The media thinks it is totally ridiculous and denies that God ever intervenes in human history to pour out His wrath. Les contrasts that with the biblical example of the Canaanites: God told Abraham his offspring would be enslaved 400 years because the Canaanites' iniquity was not yet full, giving them 400 years to straighten up. Instead, they went deeper into wickedness, so when Joshua crossed Jordan, God commanded Israel to destroy them and spare not a single one. Les warns the Gentile world is fast approaching the same place, but God is patient, gracious, and kind, letting man take his own way.
