Les Feldick Bible Study

What will people experience when God pours out His wrath?

God will cause Christ-rejecting mankind to experience such suffering and mental anguish that, according to Revelation, they will cry for the rocks and mountains to fall on them and cry for death, but it will not come. He will do this in absolute fairness and justness.

Les explains that the near-term wrath of God is coming, though the timing is unknown; he feels we are getting close. Unlike the flood, which was an instantaneous destruction, this will be God’s wrath poured out, causing mankind such suffering and mental anguish that Revelation says they will cry for the rocks and mountains to fall on them and cry for death, but death will not come. Les says this falls on Christ-rejecting mankind, and God will do it in absolute fairness and justness. He also notes that more people live now than probably lived back to Noah—over 5 billion and rushing toward 5.5 or 6—whereas at Christ’s first advent there were probably fewer than 500 million.
