Is God pouring out His wrath on the world right now?

No. Scripture indicates God is not pouring out His wrath during the present age; He is a God of grace, and where sin abounded grace abounds even more. Once the Church is outcalled before the tribulation, grace ends, and then the wrath of the Lamb is poured out.

Les explains that the suffering and turmoil we see are not God directly pouring out His wrath; rather, God permits Satan to bring suffering and turmoil to His creation. Tonight, God is a God of grace, and Paul says in Romans chapter 5 that where sin abounded, grace abounds even more. But Les also shows that grace ended with the outcalling of the Church before the tribulation began; now the wrath of the Lamb is being poured out. He cites the statement, “for the great day of his wrath is come, and who shall be able to stand?” and connects it to Psalms 2, where after Jew and Gentile reject the King, the world enters perplexity and derision, and then God pours out His vexation and wrath. These events lead to the midpoint of the seven years, after the Antichrist appears and Israel is permitted to return to temple worship, moving closer to going back under the Law.
