What happens to the Jews who are among the elect?

According to the context, the Jews who are among the elect have obtained salvation. They are the chosen believers who have come to faith, and they are in the Body of Christ with the rest of the believers. The rest of Israel remains spiritually blinded.

Les explains that Israel as a nation sought the King and the Kingdom but did not obtain it because in unbelief they refused to deal first with the sin problem. They needed a redeeming Savior, not merely a ruling king, so they rejected and crucified Him. However, not all rejected Him. The election obtained what the nation did not. Les identifies the elect as believers. Some Jews have been elected; they have come to salvation, are the chosen, and are in the Body of Christ with the rest of believers. The rest have been blinded. So today, the nation of Israel includes some practicing religion, some orthodox, some secular, but for the most part they are spiritually blind.
