What does most of Christendom believe about God being finished with the Jews?
Roughly 90% of Christendom believes God was all through with the Jew when Israel supposedly cried for the crucifixion of Christ. They hold that God turned His back on them, is finished with the Jew, and that all Old Testament prophecies and promises fell through the cracks.
Les explains that this view flies in the face of Romans chapter 11. He says about 90% of Christendom stands on the premise that God was all through with the Jew when Israel supposedly cried for the crucifixion of Christ, that God just turned them out and turned His back on them, and is through with the Jew. Consequently, they believe all the Old Testament prophecies and promises fell through the cracks because God is no longer dealing with them. Les adds that if they take that approach, they must take Romans chapter 11, besides a lot of others, tear it out and throw it away.
I say then, Hath God cast away his people? God forbid. For I also am an Israelite, of the seed of Abraham, of the tribe of Benjamin.
