Why do most Christians think God is finished with the Jews?
Much of Christendom, including Roman Catholics and Protestants, holds that God is finished with national Israel because they rejected and crucified their Messiah. Since then they have been called many things, and most church members and leaders see no connection between the Jews and the Bible.
Les explains that roughly 90% of Christendom, including Roman Catholics and Protestants, is of the opinion that God is all through with the nation of Israel. He points out that they believe God has nothing more to do with the Jew because they rejected and crucified their Messiah, and they have been called everything and anything ever since. Les also notes that most church members today see no connection between the little nation of Israel and the Bible, and many politicians and religious leaders likewise say there is no connection to the Jew or the Bible. Yet he insists that little nation is still God's covenant people, though He has set them aside for a time.
