Why is there no difference between Jews and Gentiles in salvation today?

There is no difference because the same Lord over all is rich unto all who call upon Him. In this age of grace, salvation is by believing that Christ is the Son of God, died for our sins, was buried, and rose again; Jew and Gentile alike must come the same way.

Les explains from Romans 10:11-12 that Scripture says, "Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed, for there is no difference." He notes this is the same truth as Romans chapter 3: there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek or Gentiles, because the same Lord over all is rich unto all that call upon Him. In the Old Testament, God dealt primarily with Israel—Jew only, with exceptions such as Jonah to Nineveh, Naaman, and Ruth—but now in this age of grace it is flipped: God is primarily calling out Gentiles, but a few Jews. God has not closed the door on the Jew; most are blinded, but the One their forefathers crucified is the One to whom they must come for salvation. So now in this age of grace there is no difference.
