Who did Jacob deceive besides his father Isaac and his brother Esau?

Jacob also deceived his uncle Laban. He was known as the deceiver and supplanter, always one step ahead in sharp dealings, even while working for Laban. His name means supplanter, and he gained his wives and all his children except Benjamin during his time with Laban before returning to Canaan.

Les explains that Jacob the deceiver, the supplanter, did not only deceive his father Isaac or his brother Esau; he was also pretty good at it even when he worked for his uncle Laban. Jacob was always one step ahead of everybody if there was a sharp deal, and his very name means the supplanter, the deceiver. After he had been up to Laban and gained his wives and all his children except Benjamin, he came down into Canaan with God's leading. Then he had to meet Esau and was scared, because he had tricked him some 40 years earlier.
