What are all the covenant promises and the four programs based on?
All the covenant promises and the four programs are based on God’s promise of the coming of the seed of the woman, which is Christ. That promise runs through Scripture from Genesis 3:15, through the Jewish patriarchs and the nation of Israel, and is fulfilled in Jesus Christ.
Les explains that the seed of the woman in Genesis 3:15 comes up through the Jewish patriarchs and through the little nation of Israel. He says all the covenant promises he has been talking about, this whole four programs, are based on God’s promise of the coming of the seed of the woman, which is Christ. Scripture keeps chasing that word through, and Paul writes concerning His Son, Jesus Christ our Lord, who was made of the seed of David according to the flesh.
And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel.
