What did God promise to do first after Adam and Eve fell?

After Adam and Eve fell, God first promised to set in motion the coming of the seed of the woman. In Genesis 3:15, speaking to the devil, He declared enmity between the serpent's seed and her seed. Scripture identifies that promised seed as Christ, fulfilling the first promise.

Les teaches that Genesis 3:15 is where the promised coming of the seed is first voiced, right after Adam and Eve fell. God is conversing with the devil and says He will put enmity between the devil and the woman, and between the devil's seed and her seed. The next word is seed, the seed of the woman. Galatians tells us plainly that the seed of the woman is Christ. So the first thing God promised after the fall was to set in motion the coming of the seed of the woman.

Genesis 3:15

And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel.
