Who is interceding for believers at the right hand of God?
The one interceding for believers at the right hand of God is Christ, who died, rose from the dead, and is now at God's right hand on their behalf. He watches over them and has promised to be for them, asking who can be against them.
Les explains that Christ died, and His divine blood had to be shed, because without the shedding of blood there is no remission. He is the one who died, rose from the dead, and is at the right hand of God interceding for us. Les also notes that Christ watches over us and has promised, "Who can be against you? I'm for you." Yet Les cautions that this does not mean nothing bad can happen to a believer, for Satan can transform himself into an angel of light and confuse the issues. Still, God remains in total control and sovereign, and these promises assure believers of their salvation, contrary to the idea that one must work to keep it.
Who is he that condemneth? It is Christ that died, yea rather, that is risen again, who is even at the right hand of God, who also maketh intercession for us.
