What is Christ doing at the right hand of God?

Christ is at the right hand of God, interceding for believers. He died, rose from the dead, and watches over us, having promised that He is for us. No tribulation can separate us, because He intercedes and watches over us.

Les explains that Christ is the one who died, and His divine blood had to be shed, because without the shedding of blood there is no remission. He rose from the dead and is at the right hand of God interceding for us. He watches over us and has promised, 'Who can be against you? I'm for you.' Les cautions that this does not mean nothing bad can happen to a believer; Satan can transform himself into an angel of light and confuse the issues. But God is still in total control, sovereign, and we have these promises if we rest on them. The coming verses address assurance of salvation, and 'Who shall separate us?' means just tribulation.

Romans 8:34

Who is he that condemneth? It is Christ that died, yea rather, that is risen again, who is even at the right hand of God, who also maketh intercession for us.
